Arthur Wayne Griffin brings passion, perspective, and a lifetime of experience to the airwaves every Friday evening on The 50-Yard Line, heard exclusively on Easy 105.3 from 5–7 PM.

A proud alumnus of Alabama A&M University and a former U.S. Navy lieutenant, Arthur has built a career rooted in leadership, service, and storytelling. He founded The 50-Yard Line Radio to create a space where sports, community, and culture intersect—sharing the stories of athletes, coaches, and fans while celebrating the legacy of sports across generations.

Arthur’s love for football and his commitment to honoring the game’s heroes led him to previously host Alabama A&M’s Football Review with Coach Jones for five seasons. For more than a decade, he has also been an active presence at the Louis Crews Classic and A&M Homecoming, where he served as host and escort for the late Mrs. Martha Crews.

Away from the microphone, Arthur enjoys chess, fishing, and tending to his water garden and goldfish pond. He and his wife, Jackie, are the proud parents of their son Roman, also an Alabama A&M graduate. Arthur is also a supporter of the Harris Home for Children, reflecting his commitment to giving back to the community that has supported him throughout his journey.
